Ideas to Reduce Stress

Hi Neighbors,

Few know that, aside from being an artist, IT help guy, and a semi-retired teacher, I’ve been practicing meditation for much of my life along with teaching it from time to time to my friends starting all the way back in high school.

Several months ago, I decided to start working on a business offering one-on-one meditation and Qigong classes.  Qigong has some similarities to Tai Chi, but is easier to learn and practice.  It is a set of mostly simple motions, without the stress of memorization that is part of Tai Chi.  It can be helpful for balance, getting blood circulating, and reducing stress.  Some of the movements can be done sitting for those who are unable to stand for long periods.

As a patient and empathetic instructor, I tailor each session to your individual needs, guiding you through simple and effective meditation techniques, both still and movement-oriented.  Whether you're a beginner or have past experience with meditation, we can work together to explore practices that resonate with you.

These practices may help with stress management, balance, sleep improvement, and overall well-being.

While these practices have historical and cultural roots, my approach is secular and accessible—no specific beliefs or past experience are required to benefit.

Please note that I am not a licensed therapist or healthcare professional. The sessions are intended for relaxation, mindfulness, and general well-being.

Please see my website for more information about my background, the types of meditation I teach, and price.

Feel free to contact me via email or phone with questions and concerns.  Please do not be put off if you get my voicemail, as I usually keep the phone off, but I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Warmly,
